How safe is ice skating? Safety is very important for us. We try to reduce risks to a minimum. The ice rink is surrounded by an inflatable boarding and at all times we will monitor the number of people on the ice rink. Also our staff have first aid certificate and a first aid kit will be on site. We’ve got some bike helmets and gloves are compulsory (provided by us) or you can bring your own. Also synthetic ice is not slippery so a bit safer then natural ice.

Entry conditions? Entry is at your own risk. Check out all conditions before you enter the rink.

Is it an activity for all ages? We recommend minimum age of 5 years but it’s a fun activity right from the start. It’s different, it’s exciting and it’s cool. 

Do we need to wear socks? Yes, for your own comfort and also for hygiene reasons. We have some on site that you can borrow.

Can we enter the ice rink on our shoes to assist our kids? Unfortunately not. For safety reasons we can’t allow that.

How long can we ice skate? The entry fees include at least half an hour ice skating(but you can go longer if no one is waiting). Use of our ice skates is included. We will announce when your time is up.

General

Can we buy drinks or food at the Ice Skate Tour? Depends which event you’re attending. At schools we will definitely have healthy energetic drinks like Up&Go($2.00) available and possibly the school will have a bbq or drink stall. No problem to bring your own though. When we’re at a club or expo it will be available from other stalls.

Can I pay by eftpos? Yes we’ve got eftpos, VISA and Mastercard facility at our counter.

Will there be music? Yes we will play music that is appropriate for kids and families.

Can we bring our own ice skates? No need to as use of our ice skates is included in the entry fee.

What sizes are available? We’ve got 100 pairs of ice skates in range from size 10 (5 yr) to adult size 12.

Is the ice cold? No, it’s a synthetic ice rink which means you can ice skate at all times, even mid summer!

Will the ice skate like real ice? Our ice rink has 97% same gliding capacity as natural ice so you’ll hardly feel the difference.
